Wegovy — Approved for Children Aged 12–17

As a family practitioner I can help your tween and teen achieve their ideal body weight through Wegovy. Wegovy is Semaglutide 2.4 mg injectable prescription medicine used with reduced calorie intake.

For Adolescents

Start Wegovy at 0.25 mg per week for first month
2–4 months — increase dose gradually: 0.5 mg month 2, 1 mg month 3, 1.7 mg month 4
5th month onwards can stay at 1.7 mg or increase to 2.4 mg
